Yes, even MS Dhoni was in danger of getting dropped from the Indian team!!!

His biopic is flying as high as his power-packed sixes, but India's most successful captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is still unperturbed by all that's happening around him. However, after a lot of cajoling, the World Cup winning skipper did reveal that he was once in danger of getting dropped from the Indian cricket team.

'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' has portrayed a series of high points in Dhoni's career, concluding with the historic 2011 World Cup triumph. So, in a recent media interaction, the diminutive cricketer was asked to cherry pick the favourite moment of his career. In reply to this question Dhoni said, "I'll be slightly partial when I have to choose something like that, because current memories are always your fresh memories, you tend to pick the ones that happened recently so I tend not to pick such instances that I can say 'ok these were my favourite moments'," Dhoni said.

Dhoni went on to say that had he not scored a match-winning 148 against Pakistan (2005) in the fifth ODI of his career, he could have lost his place in the team. "I exactly don't know how I felt when I scored 148 against Pakistan. I know I was very excited. I knew if I had not scored in that game there was very good chance that I would have been dropped from the team, it was my fifth game. Now after 10 years or 12 years, it's very difficult to exactly go to that point and say ok this is what I was feeling," Dhoni said.
